Perhaps the most valuable result of all education is the ability to make yourself do the thing you have to do, when it ought to be done, whether you like it or not; it is the first lesson that ought to be learned; and however early a man's training begins, it is probably the last lesson that he learns thoroughly. About Me
Kids Corner

My life as a philanthropist started at the age of four. I saw a documentary about African kids that did not have food or water to survive. I decided I didn’t want anymore toys and I wanted to save my money so I could help them. One of my first acts was taking the money I got from my tati (grandmother) and we went to the internet and picked a kid from World Vision. The kid’s name is Bruno and he is from Brazil. I chose him because he is the same age as me. We wrote back and forth and developed a friendship, a connection that has helped me want to give more to kids. Next, it was Christmas time and I was thinking what I could do during this time. I told my mama I wanted to donate my Christmas toys to other kids who couldn’t afford them and from that I developed a habit of giving.

I am a happy 7 year old that enjoys training in Taekwondo and Wushu. I have several great instructors; Mr. Hwang, Mr. Twiggs and Sifu Rafael. They are very strict and they care about the art and their students. I am very fortunate to have such great influences in my life. My Papa, is my greatest Hero, he teaches me Kung Fu and other styles of martial arts. My greatest joy is to compete in martial art tournaments, teach underprivileged kids, raise money for charities, and help others. I am Florida State Champion in forms and weapons with over 100 trophies under my belt. I am a Black Belt in Taekwondo and have a yellow sash in Wushu.

I am disciplined for my age; I like structure and self-discipline, and my teachers like me because I always pay attention and have great respect for them.
My goal is to teach kids, the joy of helping. I have learned so much since I started to devote an hour a week serving others, so I want other kids to experience this pleasure of helping.
Another goal of mine is to have my own charity organization and became a Scientist so I may find cures for diseases.
People tell me all the time that I am too little to think so much about others, but I don’t think so. It’s a good feeling to see the look of excitement on their faces when they see me caring about them. Most of the kids I work with are older than me, but somehow we connect on some level and they trust and listen to me.
Be a part of your community; make a difference in this world!
Love,

Jojo

My Life
If there is anything we wish to change in the child, we should first examine it and see whether it is not something that could better be changed in ourselves.
About two years ago my mommy and I went to the supermarket . We got the news paper, and on the front page there was a story about Marc Gold a teacher that started the one hundred friends program, he alone save the lives of people with about $10, 00 to $45, 00 dollars, so we call him in California and I send my birthday gift which was about $ 100, 00 dollars, his story help me see that I can make a difference.
