When our State Representative Maria Lorts Sachs, found out that most Kids in our center would not have a single gift this holiday season, she made sure to give the kids a day to remember.
With the help of our City Mayor Rita Ellis they gave the kids a small party, with candy, toys and clothes. The kids are so happy to know that someone so important would take time out of their busy schedule to Honor them.
She began by asking if they had made a gift for mothers, she told them that it did not matter what they gave to just honor them.
I was touched by the love and affection she had for the Kids.
It should not be a surprise by looking at her record; she loves kids and supports Mentoring organizations.
Joseph was happy because with her help the kids would have wonderful holidays.
Together they talk to the kids, sang Christmas carols and gave out presents.

PARENTS don’t teach us to care more about toys, then the art of playing.
Most of us have more toys, than we know what to do with it. DONATE

I we have told you that our dream to granted the kids wishes was not possible, because I did not collected enough money to be able to buy them the gifts, however by donating my Christmas gifts and with the help of friends and family, we gave the kids $20.00 dollars each, we wanted them to be able to buy what they needed most, some wanted to use the money for food some for toys and some just wanted to give to their families for the holiday Season.
Jojo began by apologizing to the Kids for not been able to help with more, but he was not even finished talking when the kids stared to yell his names and clap and thank him for his efforts. Here are the pictures from the magical day.
